Ferry nips Bellaire on Burress hoop

Storied rivals Bellaire and Martins Ferry went down to the wire Saturday night at Tolbert Gymnasium.

Involved in last-minute deadlock, the Purple pulled out a 57-55 verdict - thanks in large part to Riders' inside ace Jordan Burress.

First and foremost, Ferry's 6-5 junior wheeled and dealed for the game-winning basket with 13 seconds remaining.
